Little Bit of Ella, Little Bit of Keys,
From the New School with an Old Soul

An old soul with a young heart makes Tamara's voice as reminiscent of the sultry, smokey Jazz and Blues greats like Ella and Billie, yet her music is as familiar as the fresh, hip sounds of Alicia Keys, Macy Gray and Jill Scott. Her sweet vocal style and beautifully written songs are winning the hearts of those who enjoy electronic, R&B, Jazz, Soul and Pop, she is defiantly making an impact across many genres and to audiences of all ages.

Tamara has been extremely fortunate to license her music in several film and television projects. She has been the cowriter and feature vocalist on many film cues and TV theme songs, Tamara's music has gained international attention from the likes of NBC Universal, Global, Showcase and City TV.  Several Gemini nominations have featured her work.

"I've had the great pleasure of knowing Tamara for just over 11 years now. She has incredible talent. She is a consummate professional and an absolute delight to work with. Several of my own Gemini nominations and awards have featured her work. As an artist, she has easily gained my first call I know if she's part of my music it can only be better."

James Jandrisch - film music composer, Twister Music Inc.

"Greetings from the UK. Got into Tamara from the "Blood Ties" music. Love that track, so pursued her cd history, which led me to this album. She has a very good unique vocal style which makes listening to her very enjoyable. The music on the album is extremely good. I hope she will make more albums in the near future, maybe to include the "Blood Ties" track??"

Colin Harding - iTunes/ Blood Ties fan

“I’ve had the pleasure and privilege of knowing Tamara during her stay here in New York…I literally watched her evolve into the sultry hypnotizing singer that you all see today. T-Rose blossomed into Tamara Rhodes. Look out world, here she comes. Talented and gorgeous, need I say more?”
Kerby Jean - Renaissance One Promotions, New York City, NY
